Caleb was someone who devoted himself wholeheartedly to God’s Purpose.

The Caleb Connection is a Ministry that started within CBS in 1994, to draw people experienced in the work of CBS to particular regions or countries to support existing work or start new work.

We are privileged to have three such teams working with us in Scotland and Wales. There are also two teams working in Northern and Southern Ireland.

Please pray for these people as they give up their time and energy to serve God away from home.

Sam and Patti Allgood

Sam and Patti were trained for ministry by The Navigators during a 20 year military career and have served in various church leadership roles over the last 15 years. They have served for a number of years as core group leaders and Sam is currently Associate Teaching Director of his class. Patti felt called to join Cathy Rutman in Ireland in 2005.

Wales

Janet Morgan Phillips

Janet lives in Virginia and has two children and three grandchildren and has been in various forms of leadership within CBS since 1992. Janet has been working in Wales since 2006. Her family originate from Wales, as does her husbands. Janet has a background in Physical Therapy and has a particular gift for pastoral encouragement which she is able to use in Wales. There is now one established group in Wales and more to come. We pray for a travelling companion to share this ministry.

Scotland

Pete and Helen-Jane Peters

Pete and Helen-Jane started working in Scotland in 2004, when there were no CBSI classes. They now shepherd over four classes there along with Bob and Jackie. They have over 25 years experience in the ministry and serve in leadership roles at home both nationally and locally. They live in Michigan and have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Helen Jane’s family are originally from Aberdeenshire. There are now a number of classes in Scotland thanks to the commitment of Pete and Helen-Jane.
