A class can be started in any community, many situations and in a variety of venues. There are classes in churches, community buildings, homes, social clubs and prisons. Classes consist of small groups starting with three people and larger classes of 90 plus. CBS fits all these situations.

Before you start your class, identify the community you wish to reach. All classes are started with prayer. Define a small group of people (3 plus) who have the same vision.

There are two ways a class can be started:

If You will Pray (Nehemiah)

This method helps you discern your vision, define your individual roles, using the powerful tool of prayer whilst studying the wonderful book of Nehemiah. This is six week course is offered free of charge. View a sample (PDF format). On completion of this study and having defined your roles, full training and support is given before you start a class.

Short Study Booklets

For existing Bible Study Groups or House Groups you may like to try our Short Study Booklets. These can be purchased for £3.50 per copy with Leaders Guides free of charge. These booklets are our standard studies shortened and include Leaders Guides, helping you to run your study using the CBS system. If your group enjoy the studies and would like to do more, full training can be given to your leadership team(s).

How to start a Community Bible Study Class
